A Will - An Enduring Power of Attorney - A Personal Directive

Planning for disability or death is never pleasant. However, it is important to identify your wishes in these situations, to ensure that your affairs are properly handled and that your loved ones are not overly burdened.  An enduring power of attorney, a personal directive, and a will are essential in creating your estate plan. With these documents you can set out the following:

  • If you become mentally incompetent, you can name someone who will handle your financial affairs, medical and other personal life decisions, and itemize the types of decisions they can make for you.
  • How you would like your estate to be dealt with when you die.
  • In this presentation you will learn about these basic legal tools, and what is involved in acquiring them.

Lynn will answer questions that you may have.

Location: Crowther Memorial Jr. High, 190 Brent Blvd (side entrance)
