SafeSport (8-11 YRS)
Help your child become a Super Sport! A Super Sport knows how much fun playing sports can be, but also understands how important it is to stay safe and healthy.
SafeSport is a comprehensive child safety course that encourages children to get involved in sports, and emphasizes the fundamental safety aspects of doing so. SafeSport discusses how to be a Super Sport, stay safe at away games, prevent injuries, increase self-esteem, deal with sport-bullies, and all about the health benefits of keeping active.
Topics include:
- Being a "Super Sport!" (winning and losing well)
- Handling competition
- Injury prevention
- Self- esteem
- Dealing with aggressive players and coaches
- Healthy eating and living
- Traveling safely at away games
