Whether you run your own business or you simply want to share your life and interests with world, an online presence is pretty much a necessity in this day and age. How cool would it be to say to your colleagues, friends and family, "Hey! Check out my Website!"?

Owning and operating your own Website is likely a lot easier than you think.

In this course you'll learn everything you need to know to get a Website and/or blog set up without having to spend money on professional designers and developers. Using (open source) WordPress, we'll show you how to:

Set up a Website
Choose a design
Add widgets
Publish information, links, photos and galleries
View, understand and make use of visitor statistics
And more

There will be a Website available before, during and after the course with information and community to foster learning outside the class room.

There will be a 30 minute lunch break…students can bring a bag lunch if they wish.

Location: Strathmore High School, 100 Brent Blvd
2 classes: Sat, Mar 3rd and Mar 17th from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
