Canadian Non-Restricted Firearms Safety Course

This course is required in order to obtain a Firearms Possession and Acquisition License. You will be introduced to firearms, basic firearm safety, ammunition, how to operate a firearm along with safe handling and carrying techniques. You will also learn social responsibilities of the firearm and proper storage, transportation and handling. Minimum age for this course is 12 years. The course is eight hours long and as soon as the course is done, exams will take place. The exams consist of one written and a one-on-one practical (20 minutes each).

Students bring a bag lunch.
