BullyProofing (7-11 YRS)
In an interactive, non-threatening manner, children learn how to become 'BullyProofed'. This child safety program is designed to be preventative and proactive, so that children can avoid being bullied, and if they are bullied, know how to stop it.
The focus is on:
- Tolerance
- Identifying bullying
- Understanding why bullying occurs
- Acting on bullying
- Recognizing and preventing cyberbullying
- Good citizenship
Students will know how to:
- Understand the importance of being unique
- Learn the negative aspects of stereotyping
- Define bullying and cyberbullying
- Recognize bulling in previous/current/future situations
- React to bullying if they are being bullied
- React to bullying if they witness a person being bullied
- Avoid being bullied
- Learn the five key components of good citizenship
